Dear Chapter Members,
June marks my final President’s Message for the MTACFE. I have had the distinct pleasure of leading an incredible Board. I truly believe our Chapter has endured a year like no other in our 28-year history. I cannot image navigating through such times without such a strong Leadership Team.
This morning I passed the gavel to President-Elect Suzzie Singleton at our virtual Board Meeting (pictured above). Her enthusiasm and love for the Chapter is infectious and inspiring. We couldn’t be more fortunate to have her stepping into this role.
Jason Conner is serving as Vice-President. Jason held the office of President when we hosted the ACFE Global conference. As fate would have it, Jason will again be President when the ACFE Global Conference returns to Nashville in 2022.
Board members Micheal Baer, Phyllis Pickett, Jessica Scouten and Teri Williams return as the 20/21 Board of Directors. I am proud to sit on this Board as Past President as they lead us forward.
My experience as Chapter President has been fun, educational, exciting, sometimes disappointing, but always interesting. I am grateful and honored to have been entrusted with leadership of the Chapter over the last year. My successes are only because I stood “on the shoulders of giants.”
Thank you and have a happy and safe summer.
