The Middle Tennessee Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners is awarding four scholarships to outstanding Middle Tennessee* students pursuing a degree in business, criminal justice, information technology, or a law-related major.  One scholarship, the Donna Crutcher Memorial Scholarship, in the amount of $2,500, one scholarship in the amount of $2,000, one scholarship in the amount of $1,500, and one scholarship in the amount of $1,000 will be awarded at the June 20, 2019, luncheon.  Scholarship recipients and a guest will be invited to attend the luncheon.**


Eligibility Requirements:


    • Middle Tennessee student who will be graduating from high school in May/June 2019 or is currently enrolled or will be attending a Tennessee college or university
    •  Seeking a degree in business, criminal justice, information technology, or a law-related major
    •  Minimum 3.0 grade point average (4.0 scale)


    To apply:


    1. Complete the scholarship application. More information, along with the scholarship application, Click here to apply
    2. Attach current high school or college transcript.
    3. Attach two letters of recommendation from non-relatives.
    4. Attach an original 250-500 word essay on why you deserve the scholarship and how fraud awareness will affect your career development.
    5. The application and all attachments should be submitted together and RECEIVED no later than May 31, 2019.

    *Middle Tennessee includes the following counties: Bedford, Cannon, Cheatham, Clay, Coffee, Davidson, DeKalb, Dickson, Fentress, Franklin, Giles, Grundy, Hickman, Houston, Humphreys, Jackson, Lawrence, Lewis, Lincoln, Macon, Marshall, Maury, Montgomery, Moore, Overton, Perry, Pickett, Putnam, Robertson, Rutherford, Sequatchie, Smith, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Van Buren, Warren, Wayne, White, Williamson and Wilson.


    Confirmation of enrollment in a Tennessee college or university will be required prior to payment of funds.


    **Guests: limited to one guest per recipient with the exception of recent high school graduates, who may bring both parents.
