Please join us for the MTACFE’s volunteer event at Second Harvest Food Bank held on Thursday, November 30, 2023! This particular effort will take place from 5:30PM to 8:00PM at the SHFB’s Smyrna location, which is located at 1958 Almaville Road, Smyrna, TN. There is space for up to 20 volunteers. Family and friends are welcome, but they must be able to perform the sorting work in the warehouse, and they must be at least 12 years of age. The link and details are below.

Below are some important reminders:
Location/Parking
· Your volunteer shift will take place at 1958 Almaville Road in Smyrna. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your shift.
· Limited parking is available in the Second Harvest lot. We encourage volunteers to carpool whenever possible.
Policies and Procedures
· ALL warehouse volunteers must wear close-toed shoes. Volunteers wearing sandals or flip-flops will not be allowed to volunteer.
· Bags, purses and backpacks are not allowed in the warehouse. Lockers are available or we request that you leave these items in a locked vehicle.
· In efforts to remain as environmentally friendly as possible, we encourage volunteers to bring their own reusable water bottle.
